Politics is a universal term that is used to describe the process by which a person or a group of people especially within civil government tend to control the behaviors of others hence affecting their lives Politics is a form of power and is common in all human social interactions which may include religious , academic or corporate bodies Politicians have the capability to make decisions that in turn influence the ways of life of people

Public

administration is as a result of decisions made by executives in the government and thus cannot be separated from politics . Public administration has its roots in politics or decisions made by the government . The government in any case is formed through some political protocols and has the duly authority over public resources . Civil servants are entitled to the government and are responsible for their duties in serving the public . Public administration is subjected to politics as there is need to control the public sector . According to Woodrow Wilson 1996 , public administration is unique from the other forms of administration such as business administration and other private organizations due to the great influence from the government

For the government or political leaders to earn public trust , they have to show some interest in the public properties and national resources Environmental conservation for example would not be possible if the government is not engaged in this crucial action . The public offers the government support in dealing with the important matters affecting the people it rules through the use of public administration

All the public sectors are controlled by strong policies that are made by the law makers in the government aimed at equal distribution of resources . The government is to blame for failure of the public administration to meet the mission of the government

The public administration structure is based on political affiliation of the government in power . The flow of power of a particular government is portrayed through the various hierarchies in the public sector through public administration . The effect that the politicians have over the employment rates , economic development and the general well being of the people is felt through public administration . Politics also affects private administration to some extent .
