It has been instilled and taught to me that attaining education can help me in my career and future endeavors in life . As an individual seeking meaning in life , I come now to a phase where I can get grasp of these dreams and make it a reality . to grant me the very opportunity to go to college and study at your institution . Living in a rural community southwest of Kansas , the constraints had been evident financially regarding my future education . Due to these financial setbacks and the difficulty of sending someone to college , continuing my dream seems to be at a bleak As I see it , college is an important step ladder in pursuing my endeavors in life . If ever given the opportunity , I would gladly and proudly seize the moment and apply to a course that much suits my interests a course in Pre-Dentistry . Having been given this talent , I wish to apply on a Pre-Dentistry course . This is one level before attaining my goal to be Dentist in the future . During all these years in High School , I have given great importance to my academic performance . I am proud to say that I am a consistent 4 .0 student . However , this academic achievement does not hinder me from reaching out . I am also engaged in a number of extra-curricular activities . I am involved in organizations such as the STUCO and SADD Moreover , I also am involved in sports and athletics . I enjoy myself playing tennis in school . Furthermore , apart from my academic activities , I also engage in the things that interest me music . To supplement this passion , I am currently a part of the school band

My quest though for holistic development does not end at these actions my school gave me the opportunity to address these other needs by letting me attend several seminars and trainings . I attended as a representative in the Student Advisory Council at the Southwest Plains Regional Service Center . Furthermore , I was also a participant at the Leadership Conference in Washington D .C . This experience helped me develop my personal skills

As a student , I also came to acknowledge the value of time . Time management is vital for me because I want everything that I do to be worth my time and effort . With this skill , I was able to balance between my studies , work and extra-curricular activities . I mention this because in college for you to cope up with the necessary load , you must have the discipline as well as the determination to control in everything that you do
