Crime occurs as a result of several well known factors in people 's life Some of the concepts which are indicted to be the major concepts of crime include the parental influence , guilt , oedipal conflict and aggression . Parental influence is the incitation of the child behavior by the parent 's action . This involves the children being swayed towards or against their parents depending on the relationship between the two Guilt is the aspect of self unlikeness which makes

an individual feel unworthy of himself most often after he or she has acted in unacceptable way

Oedipal conflict is a behavior which results to a child hating the presence and existence of the parent of the same sex and getting to close to the parent of the opposite sex (Daly and Wilson , 2004 Aggression refers to the aspect of rebellion and rivalry that emanates from within a person . Of all the four concepts discussed above the one which can cause a major crime is the guilt . The reason is that the individuals suffering form this condition hate themselves and also feels rejected by others and don 't even find it worthy living . Some prefer death than life . Due to this aspect they can do any crime and attract any consequences possible . After all death is their rest
