This is an account of my travels backward in time to the town of Candelaria , Nevada for one week in 1894 The Great Meteor of 1894

On February 1 , 1894 , a meteor sailed through the evening sky and landed in the desert near Candelaria , Nevada . A brilliant glow was seen all the way to California . Closer , in Bellville and Soda City , Nevada , the ground shook , dishes rattled in their cupboards , and a sound like
