The world can boast of many splendid places which can impress one with their uncommon beauty and grandeur . One can always find something to his taste , where he will find himself in the seventh sky right away and where he will feel his feet are touching the stars . I 've been to many such places but none of them can compare to the beauty of Key West where I spent this summer vacation

Do you want to feel the dynamic movement of ocean waves as your head in a

mask and a snorkel is going deep down under the water ? Do you want to see the realm of sea inhabitants under the water and get amazed at the beauty of their world as the sun-beams are lighting their uncommon dwellings ? Do you want to hear the sound of birds singing in all the bushes of the islands , the noise of stray chicken running in all directions in search of seeds ? Do you want to taste the most delicious oysters and snapper in the whole world in the bar where Hemmingway used to eat while looking at the ocean ? If all that is what you have always been dreaming about , this gorgeous island is for you . You will feel at home there and will want to come back there over and over again in order to re-experience all the beautiful moments you had here before . Imagine an area which sinks in greenery of trees and bushes , glares by the bright colors of exotic flowers . The island is paradise on Earth , and once you find yourself on it , you start realizing how many blessing God has given to us by creating such beauty in the world . Key West is the island where a touch of Caribbean meets the Florida coast

Key West is widely known for many facts- like for example The Conch Republic seceded from the U .S . 22 years ago . It 's also true that there cats jump through fire and tightrope walkers test their fate during nightly sunset celebrations . Conch shell blowing is considered a musical art , roosters roam the streets , and many other things happen there which astonish all of the tourists . Key West is treasure trove , and not just because of the multitude of shipwreck and memorabilia . Its Old Town section is rich with historic sites and architecture . Because the island is very compact , many venerable houses and other buildings now function as inns , restaurants , museums . You can have a fantastic time walking along the narrow roads of Key West , spending time in the beach attending world famous bars where Tennessee Williams and Ernest Hemmingway were eating

However , the most exciting activities one can do in Key West are certainly diving or snorkeling , and many people from all countries go there to explore the beauty of the ocean world .
