Lots of people , especially young ones , think of cohabiting as a great way to get all the privileges that marriage gives , without giving any commitments . It 's obvious that when the person is young and he /she has just freed from their parent 's control and custody , one is often afraid to

arrange a serious relationship , seeing it as a comeback to depending from someone . But , as its normal for a human to want love and care , the adolescent often seeks for relationship . What is also important is that youngsters often lack money , and it 's easier and cheaper to live together

Living together without giving marriage oaths is in some ways much like marriage , but the existing dissimilarities are also great . The main difference is that people , who register their marriage usually , think that it 's life-long relationship . They plan to live together in spite of all the problems and disagreements they might have , and , what 's also very important , they want to give birth to children and raise them together . On the contrary , cohabiting is based on the agreement that the couple will continue living together unless they 'll both be satisfied with their partner 's behavior . As a rule they do not want to have children on different reasons , thus the pregnancy of the woman either breaks that relationship or leads to the official registration of marriage

The financial issues in these two types of relations also differ a lot Partners who are not married usually both have their own income separate from the one of the partner , and they prefer to keep their funds separated , paying the rent and other charges in shares .
