Compare the Christian principle view of Jesus to the Islamic Perspective of Jesus

Possibly one of the most prominent and influential religious figure around the world is Jesus Christ . Jesus is basically the central figure of Christianity and is well known as the Son of God . However , while Jesus Christ is considered as a highly important in Christianity , other religions , in particular , Islam , have different perspectives of Jesus Basically , Christian views of Jesus and the views of Islam have both similarities and differences . According to Wikipedia , in Christianity Jesus Christ is

a divine figure , who was prophesized as the Messiah or the Savior in the Old Testament . He is called the Son of God , who can perform various miracles . Based on Wikipedia , for Christians , Jesus Christ came to the world to save the people from their sins , which he accomplished by dying on the cross and being resurrected after his death . Moreover , in Christianity , Jesus Christ came to this world through the Immaculate Concepcion of Mary , his mother , which means that Mary conceived him as a virgin or without sexual intercourse . In addition , despite his divine nature , Jesus is also human , which is why he was able to live among ordinary people . Furthermore , they also believe that Jesus will return judge all humans , which is called the second coming

. On the other hand , according to Wikipedia , from the Islamic point of view , Jesus is not the Son of God but rather a messenger or prophet of God who was sent to guide the Children of Israel using the gospel . They also believe that Jesus was given the power to perform miracles in to assist the Children of Israel . Moreover , Islam believes that Jesus was not crucified and killed , but was sent up to heaven , which is similar to his divine ascension in the views of Christianity . Like Christianity , Islam also believes that Jesus will return to the Earth on judgment day to defeat the enemies of Islam but will die afterwards

In short , while both Christianity and Islam have differences in their perspective of Jesus , they both regard him as a very important figure in their religions . However , Jesus Christ is regarded as a higher or more powerful figure in Christianity than in Islam
