The Bad Things in E-Mailing

E-mails are generally good and very useful . However , there are problems that can be associated with this supposedly effective and efficient means of communication . The bulk of the problem comes from the professional side or work related e-mails

The first problem that I have personally encountered is the e-mail delivery system . Senders are not assured whether their mails are sent to their clients or recipients in time . I have experienced

receiving a delivery notice 72 hours after I sent my email that it was not actually sent but was still on queue because the e-mailbox of my recipient was full

The second dilemma I encounter in e-mails , professionally , is the usage of words especially in professional and /or work related situations Usage of Hi ' and Hello ' as an introduction for and from my formal correspondences does not make me feel comfortable both about the email itself and the email contents

Lastly , even at work emails , forwarding messages to and from colleagues and friends happen . I experienced opening spam mails , and emails that are senseless . Some of them are chain mails , images , trivia , and scary stories that serve no purpose at all but to crowd the inbox . In fact , I witnessed one colleague freaking out when a scary image blurted out of her screen when she clicked a link that was sent to her email

For personal usage , the problems are the spam mails where every business are trying to get your e-mail address and get you ! Not to mention personal friends who forward all the mails they receive to your inbox . Can you imagine how bulky that can be
