The world is fast becoming a bless place . Cultures , races beliefs and ideologies are blend together and interact because of the growing advances in communications . In to succeed in this world one needs to be able to adapt to the various cultural differences as well as be able to maintain a certain sense of individual identity This is one of the main reasons why I think the (Insert chosen University here ) is the best place for me to cultivate and develop my talents

At the onset , I would like to formally state

my intention of entering this prestigious University and pursue further studies in the field of architecture . The reason for this is that this field has always been my interest , even during my time in high school where I had three (3 ) years of architecture classes and studies . I understand that it is not up to me though to simply just express my interest in enrolling at your University and therefore I must also briefly discuss potential contributions to the Campus Community and the University

I consider my foreign background as one of strengths . I have only been in America for four (4 ) years yet in that short period of time I have been able to see just how wonderful it is in America . My ability to adapt , accept and learn from different cultures allowed me to blend into American culture . Being raised under a very different form of government , I was brought up under a very different set of rules , yet upon coming to America I was easily able to adapt to my surroundings and immerse myself into this rich and diverse culture while maintaining my (Insert nationality / heritage here ) background

The first few months in America were difficult as I had to adjust to the culture and even analyze the patterns of speech and sentence construction but soon enough I was able to make friends and become fluent in English which proved to be the doorway to other cultures because it enabled me to reach out to other people from other countries and cultures who had come to America as well . Given my open-minded nature and keen interest in learning more about other cultures , I soon found myself in the company of Indian , Chinese and American friend from different cultures and religions

Another of my strengths which I believe will be beneficial to (chosen University ) and which will also be developed at (chosen University ) is my leadership skill which I was able to hone during my tenure as a member of the varsity Football team of my high school for two (2 ) years As the (role in the leadership position ) it is important to be able to set an example for others and also motivate the members of the team While I believe that I was able to polish these skills in high school (chosen University ) will definitely be a better place for me to develop such talents and allow me to use them in other...
