When I landed on the land of dreams i .e . America , a few years back , I was full of passion and cravings and my ultimate dream was to win laurels for myself and for my family . I was well aware of the fact that mere desires do not translate into something concrete and sheer hard work and exploitations of opportunities are needed to excel in life . But idealism and desires are a must as it is said `In to succeed your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure

America , several other impediments came into my way i .e . the difference of culture , language and the system of education . Ii produced inter-cultural competence to overcome these differences and polished my skills in oral and verbal English . Now I am well versed in Hebrew as well as in English . Furthermore , I charged my creative batteries to adjust myself to the American educational system as my native education was based on mere transfer of knowledge and rote memorization . My school results are a proof of my triumphs in this area

Being an inquisitive and curious nature , I always craved for in-depth knowledge of things . This inner inclination becomes a habitual formation in my school days and again my schools results are a proof of this personal trait . During the last three academic sessions , I have been bestowed with Highest Honor for Academic Achievements from my high school due to excellence in studies . My academic subjects include pure sciences physics , biology , chemistry and particularly math due to their practical applications and effective utilization for the benefits of humanity . Additionally , in my junior year I was the only person in my school to take the AP Physics BC course in the entire school . This manifest clearly that I take the challenges and maintain my performance in trials

In addition to academic achievements , I consider social services as a part of my mundane activities . I serve as an instructor /tutor /counselor for the Israeli scouts i .e . a voluntary body to create awareness among young ones about Israel . I work with different children of different ages ranging from third graders to eighth graders and educate them about social , cultural , religious aspects of Israel as well as living in the U .S , helping them better adapt to the American culture and way of life This role has capacitated me to develop certain behavioral competencies and necessary skills that are needed to accomplish a college education It inculcated in me the leadership abilities and taught me how to give others opportunities to practise new skills and capabilities , and how to organize and provides coaching . Now I can create a supportive environment by securing necessary resources and removing impediments to effective working .
