Classical Conditioning

Introduction

This research tends to discuss the process of classical conditioning and how it is applied . Classical conditioning is basically the conditioning of response behavior of a certain stimulus wherein it is supported by a certain unconditioned response . In this process of learning , people learn how to correlate or associate a certain stimulus into another stimulus which means that through this process people learn to predict

and /or anticipate certain responses from a certain premise or event

This study was first developed by Pavlov wherein he explained that a certain person will respond or react towards a stimulus which is presented to him or her through the use of reinforcement . This theory by Ivan Pavlov is nowadays used as the process of motivation or reinforcement . Ivan Pavlov did not intentionally study about this matter he discovered it through accidentally acquiring an observation of his dog wherein he first noticed the dog 's behavior towards the considered unconditioned response which is said to be the salivating behavior of the dog through the use of a reinforcement which is the sound that indicates acquisition of food . Pavlov discovered that everytime someone tends to bang the plate of the dog 's food and the dog hears it , then the dog salivates . The dog is said to be the

Unconsciously , people use classical conditioning and thus in everyday life people tend to apply it . This kind of conditioning is already applied at home , in school , work , and everywhere even in the streets Regarding this , this provides reliable information about the process of classical conditioning , how it started , and where it is effectively applied . In addition , the discussion of the facts about classical conditioning such as the use of positive and negative reinforcement is included as well as how it affects people 's response throughout the process The very Beginning of Classical conditioning

Ivan Pavlov was the very first psychologist to discover and study about classical conditioning . Pavlov begun to be interested about the behavior when he once observed that his dog tends to salivate every time he tends to enter his laboratory this is because every time Pavlov tends to open his laboratory door , the dog 's food plate is banged by the door and therefore it creates a sound wherein it give 's the dog an idea that the dog will acquire food ADDIN EN .CITE HodsonChristine HodsonPsychology and Work2001Routledg e (Hodson , 2001

In Pavlov 's study of conditioning , the dog learned the behavior of responding every time after the dog hears a sound . In for the psychologist to further acquire an observation about the animal 's behavior , Pavlov designed a kind of research wherein he placed a bell that he would ring every time he tends to give the dog a food . As a response of the dog to the premise or stimulus that Pavlov made , his...
