Lethal violence is that which involves the use of a weapon capable of causing injury to the woman such as rape . Nonlethal violence uses no such weapons but other means that are capable of injuring the woman psychologically such as sexual or other forms of sexual assault excluding rape

women in society that helps to promote violence against women

The factors include the use of women as wives and servants . Such roles are usually used to measure the effectiveness of woman , and since they are usually mediocre and the most difficult , it has been assumed that whoever fails to do them well is subject to violence through punishment They include child bearing

d ) Provide a policy or program to help address the issue of violence against women

There has to be a lot more empowerment of women to have more authority in the home . There also needs to be harsher punishments for those guilty of violence against women
