Change management in organizations is an important component of the current leadership as inventions and innovations are developed with technological advancement . Health care being a key requirement for our daily lives , there is need to change the current Nurse-Patients services delivery to improve the status of the institution and service delivery to the public . This change have been prompted by the rising costs of health care , increasing technology , information availability , declining reimbursement , and shortages in workforce which have called for

new approaches to effect efficiency in the whole institution

Nurses and patients relationship is therefore a key requirement for the health sector to meet the current standards suitable and acceptable for disposal of their services to the people . The health care leader 's role is to facilitate the change in the most subtle way which will achieve the goal of raising the standards in the services offered without negatively affecting the staff (Nancy Susan , 2005 , pp . 21-22 . This explores the strategic procedures necessary for changing the relationship between the nurses and their patients with a view of improving the services offered to the patients who turn up for the service and more importantly the staff welfare .
