In to agree to the notion that whether Bush left behind a legacy which can be carried forward or not depends largely on the context within which such moves can be analyzed . Though some of the actions of Bush administration can be considered as poor decisions because of their inability to yield results for US but on the other hand , such actions brought into action broader changes in foreign policy of US which helped US to further solidify its position as the lone super power of the world The actions of Bush

administration , especially in its later period took some steps which were aimed at correcting the past mistakes and which according to Mr . McManus largely rightly aimed at achieving the desired objectives . What is however critical to argue that the later actions may complicate things further for the new President as both the domestic as well as foreign policy measures are going to be reversed by the new President ? The fact that the tax cuts as well as health reforms are to be put in check by the new Obama administration as well as the U-turn on some policies and initiatives such as closure of Guantanamo suggest that President Obama is all set to be undone the legacy of President Bush
