The Islamic faith already acknowledges the existence of Jesus who is Isa in their texts . Even their holy book the Qur 'an ascribes to him the high title of The Messiah . To them Jesus was one of God 's most beloved messengers and a precursor to Muhammad , he was sent to guild the Sons of Israel . They hold true the miraculous virgin birth of Isa to Miriam Mary . Also documented in their Qur 'an are the miracles which Jesus performed and that he was raised to His Presence (Allah . Finally Muslims maintain that he will return on the Day of Judgement and defeat the Dajjal or Anti-Christ and the enemies of Islam together with the Imam Mahadi . It is only one two major points that Christian and Islamic views on Christ diverge first , on the divinity of Christ and second on his passion death and resurrection

And their saying : Surely we have killed the Messiah , Jesus son of Mary the messenger of God and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him , but it appeared to them so (like Jesus ) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it they have no knowledge respecting it , but only follow a conjecture , and they killed him not for sure . Therefore , it is plain to see that our Muslim brothers are aware of Christ . A proper appreciation of his life and his divine nature may be all that is necessary to bring them into communion with our faith . What better method to use that the very Gospels themselves . The very earliest Christian Works from which their own conception of Jesus was no doubt based . Our focus will be the Gospels of Luke and Matthew . Where Jesus was born humblest of God 's Children yet even the wisest of men , the Magi , came to pay him homage
