Another important aspect of successful performance management are the follow-up mechanisms that are performed on regular basis . There are various processes applied in the performance management operations . First is defining roles to be played by individual members of the labor force . Having members of the labor force understand their activities in the production process has a positive impact in the productivity . Indeed , employees are able to develop their own ways of achieving organisational goals . Working groups at the departmental level are able to share tasks according to member skills and expertise . After taking note of all the processes undertaken in the practicing organisation , the management should embark on matching the process with employee qualifications . Again , undertaking this process at the departmental level leads to better matching of talent with responsibilities . The management must also ensure that employees are comfortable with the responsibilities . In making this possible , the management should ensure explaining roles ans responsibilities fully . In addition , the labor force should be provided with some time to understand all their roles . They should further be encouraged to ask for clarifications if needed .
