Basically , those persons who were born between 1946 and 1964 are being tagged as Baby Boomers ' since it was during the said period wherein the Second World War was put into end as well as a lot of nations around the globe experienced massive growth on their birth rate or simply they are the ones who were born after the end of the Second World War (Rosenberg , 2007

In the 1940 's , after the end of the Second World War

, the GI 's was able to start families and went back to school as well as they were also able to purchased homes with the aid of the GI Bill which gives the GI 's low interest rates and no down payment on loans for homes and farms . It was identified that more than half of the Second World War two veterans avail GI Bill . In the fifties , also known as the years of innocence , movie and music industry began to flourish as kid shows became popular in most of the American families . Some of the most popular kid TV shows were Captain Kangaroo , Lassie and a lot more . Moreover , as post war moms starts to find their jobs , kid TV shows serves as their surrogate mother . It is clear here that the improvement of the entertainment industry specifically kid TV shows , tells us how Baby Boomers starts to drive the American mainstream as well as other components of the economy

In the 1960 's , this is the period wherein the term Baby Boomer started to use in describing those person who were born between 1946 and 1964 . By this period , Baby Boomers were already teen agers and the concept for free love , rock , drug experimentation , long hair and scruffy clothes starts to fill the American cultural and social trend The ruling of teen boomers in the society brought a lot of social problems and this only showed how large is the number or the extent on which Baby Boomers could impose to the society and economy and this was also the decade wherein Americans realize the said power ' or influence ' of Baby Boomers

By the start of the seventies , most of the Baby Boomers are already on their 20s and this was also the decade wherein Boomers made a crucial role on the legislation of some of the significant laws in the American history . Like for instance , the legislation of Bill of Rights wherein a number of Baby Boomer activists , mostly on their teens and young adulthood , made actions for the said law to put into passage .
