Art Disciplines ( insert NAME Art can be defined as the combination of the human sense and mind in making a creative work . It is popularly known as human creative works There are many forms of art depending on the purpose , materials used mode and the final product . Some of the forms of art are visual arts performing arts , language arts and culinary arts . From the four basic groups of arts , there are disciplines from each of the four that have some distinct characteristics Visual arts can be defined as the form

of art that can be seen by the naked eye . Examples of this art are painting , sculpture , architecture drawing and literature . While the performing art can be attributed to the arts that pertain to the performance , and body movement of the artist . Examples are music , theatre , film , opera and dance
Painting
Painting is the form of art that is the application of a color to a surface like , wood , canvas , lacquer or glass . Painting is has more meaning from the above mentioned , it is the combination of the drawing scale , and composition to produce an aesthetic product . Painting is usually made by painters to express their feelings
There are many forms of expression made by painters on their paintings One is naturalistic . Naturalistic painting is paintings that describe the feeling and emotion to the nature . Examples are still life landscape , plants and animals painting . Another form of expressing the emotions in painting is by abstract painting . This form of painting uses many symbolisms to further give more deep meaning to the artwork Political paintings were been popular in the heights of empire and kingdom . Leaders of different nations have painting for their self . The most popular form of expression of painting is the spiritual painting This was made by many renaissance scholar people like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo . They used different characters in their paintings like mythological figures to biblical figures . Painting has many characteristics that are different from the other forms of art . One is that it utilizes color , binder and a medium . The color and the tone of the painting are also important elements . The color gives life and meaning to the painting . It shows the expression of the painter and this differs depending on the culture of the painter . In western countries , red symbolizes love , and war . Black color is used when the painter want to emphasize mourning . Another important element of a painting is the tone of the color to give more emphasize on the meaning of the painting . Rhythm , just like in music is also important in painting . Rhythm is the break incorporated to the object in the paintings . It symbolizes the distribution of form and mood of the painter . Music is a discipline of art that deals on the combination of sound and silence to produce an organize theme . Just like painting , music differs on every culture and the period when the artist compose a musical piece
Music can be expressed in various forms . Some of the basic form of music are , artistic or aesthetic , communicative , entertainment and religious expressions . Artistic or aesthetic music are music that expresses the beauty and life . Popular kinds of this music are medieval and renaissance music . Communicative music is used for the purpose of transferring information to the audience like impressionist music , while entertainment music is made for the entertainment of the listener , which is now popular in modern times . Religious music is used in spiritual acts like praising God . The quality of the sound of music will be affected by factors like articulation , texture dynamics and timbre . And lastly , the nature of music is the combined effects of sound and silence to produce the music
Theater
Theater is a performing art that deals with the acting of roles from a story . Some of the basic form of expression of this art is drama comedy , tragedy , and fantasy . Drama can be defined as serious acting while comedy means happiness and celebration . Tragedy ends with sorrowful events while fantasy is the creation of supernatural heroes
Some of the basic elements in theater arts are speech , gesture , mime music and dance . These elements are combined based on the purpose of the producer as well to produce a beautiful theater act . In dancing , the body movement or the steps of the dancer is unique compared to the other form of arts , and when the other elements will combine in each step of the dancer . Comparing it with theater arts , the movement of the body in dancing is combined with the rhythm of the music being played
