Introduction to the The main objective of this is to define the concept of project management and how these tools and techniques would be used for the procedure . There is a need to also understand how the manager would conduct the project in to achieve the objective of building a log cabin . The would be divergent towards the universal concept as to how a project is managed and what the different components of project management are Definition of a Project As defined by PMBOK , a project is a temporary endeavor undertaken

to create a unique product or service (PMBOK Guide , 2000 ) as explained by the definition itself , a project is formed on a temporary basis where the individuals get together to perform a certain objective . Here the objective is to be achieved once and this would mean the development of a certain product or serviced which would enter the operations of the organization . A project is based on a certain set of requirements which would be received from the customer or within the organization and based on these requirements the project management team would continue to set milestones and guidelines as to how to achieve the objective
