I . Introduction

This will provide a comparison of housing construction architecture from two different periods . A house from the late 19th century which is built sometime from 1875 to 1914 will be compare to a house constructed with 10 years ago from the present time , a house from the 20th or 21st century

This will trace the evolution of housing construction through the lens architecture by discussing the architectural style , floor plans , interior decoration and design furnishings and building technologies and constructions . Housing is a rapidly developing population and dealing with the diminution of the natural resources and source of energy , responding to the heightened impacts of man-made and natural calamities and coming to the period of rapid technological advancements constituting issues which are greatly affecting the way the world is apparent , organized and lived in at the beginning of the new millennium . and comparison of both housing construction will be discuss further in the

First is the housing construction during the 19the century , on the later years of this century is the emergence of Victorian architecture which dates from the second half of the 19th century , when America was discovering new ways to building and design . Advancements in machine technology meant that Victorian-era builders could easily incorporate mass-produced ornamentation such as brackets , spindles , and patterned shingles . There are a variety of Victorian styles , which includes Second Empire , Italianate , Stick , and Queen Anne . The last true Victorians were constructed in the early 1900s , although contemporary builders frequently make use of Victorian ideas , designing eclectic neo-Victorians ' A number of Victorian styles are recreated on the fanciful Main Street ' at Disney theme parks in Florida , California and Europe . These homes combine modern materials with 19th century details , such as curved towers and spindled porches
