Godfather

The character of Michale Corleone fascinates me upon watching Godfather . His intelligence and determination made his personality float above the rest of the characters from the film . Played by Al Pacino , he is the youngest son of Vito Corleone who undergoes severe change in the movie . He is a fighter during World War II but misunderstood by his family because they taught that he was so busy fighting in behalf of strangers and not for his family . He was honest enough to reveal to his girlfriend Kay about his family background

but swears he was never a part of their family business . Their relationship lead to marriage but sooner failed and ends up with a divorce . His roller coaster life and personality taught me lessons in life

He was an excellent Godfather in the film . As much as he anted to take a different field apart from what his family had , he then ended being involved in the Mafia and failed to head a legitimate field . Being the successor of his father , he was twice as much as him when it comes to leadership . He is tougher , more ambitious and more violent . His leadership made him forget his plans and promises to his ladylove . The chances of becoming a senator and forgetting the mafia life was not achieved because he need to take revenge on his father 's death . He made a self sacrificing move that cost his family life , as he loses his wife and children

He has a character far from what a protagonist should be . He is a tragic figure because he dies at the end of the movie . His heart is blinded with revenge and he ends up with the idea that legitimacy is out of hand and impossible . Instead of fulfilling promises of legitimacy , he died in the yard of his Sicilian villa . Leaving his family in pain of his death . His character in the film challenged me as an individual who wants liberty in myself . I have dreams and aspirations in life and his personality as Michael in the movie challenged my determination to succeed . In a way that vengeance will be out of the subject and pure focus on legitimacy is at hand...
