a series of self portraits , ranging over the period of Andy Warhol 's whole life , in his different styles . One of these includes the famous Andy Warhol silkscreen style . This was named Self-Portrait with Camouflage , it features the artist in his prime

of fame and celebrity painted over a field of military camouflage . Andy Warhol painted his own image on many occasions throughout his entire career as an artist . They were part of his self promotional nature . It was this that made his blank face as a trademark and his white wig as famous as many of the celebrities he painted

Consequently it could be said that Andy was also carrying on a tradition of self portrait painting that artists like Rembrandt and Vincent van Gogh had pursued before him . These two famous artists were known to include many various self-portraits in their portfolio . Both artists also made the painting of self-portraits a constant exercise throughout the entirety of their careers

and composition that achieve the results of an interpretation . The physical properties will be analyzed and a deeper breakdown of the different aspects of this piece will be completed by this . Physical Properties

The straight lines seen everywhere across the portrait reveal a sense of seriousness in the artwork .
