The patients experience panic attacks in their middle ages , about 30 , but may possibly occur in the childhood years (Sahley , 2002 . During a panic attack , the patient suffers form intense physical symptoms like blurred

br vision , unbearable dread , numbness of feet and hands , dizziness , sense of unreality , hot and cold flashes , choking sensations , nausea breathing difficulty , heart pounding , sweating , and chest pain (Sahley 2002 . As well , the patients have a feeling of losing consciousness and sanity . All these can happen in one or five minutes and may even last for about half of an hour in every panic attack episode . Once the panic attack symptoms occur simultaneously within a week or for several times in a month , the patient 's condition becomes a panic dis (Sahley 2002 . In the long run , since the panic attack occurs unpredictably anxiety develops among the patients due to the possible embarrassment when they experience panic attack while in public places . This anticipatory anxiety , most of the time , has more serious complications than the panic attack symptoms which eventually leads to agoraphobia (Sahley , 2002 .
