John Keats 's `To Autumn ' is a romantic vision of a fantastic celebration of life during the season of autumn . It reveals the extra ordinary natural beauty of autumn which is gorgeous because it is so rich and full of life . In the first stanza , the speaker addresses autumn describing its abundant nature and its closeness with sun autumn makes fruits ripe and flowers bloom with the help of the sun . In the second stanza , autumn is

depicted as a female goddess who sits on the granary floor while her hair are soft-lifted ' by the wind and is often seen watching a cider-press squeeze juice from apples or sleeping in the fields . In the third stanza , autumn is told to listen to its own music rather than wondering about where the songs of spring have gone . The poet concludes the poem with the description of joyous actions of animals such as small gnats ' humming above the shallows of the river full-grown lambs ' bleating from the hills , robins whistling from the garden , crickets singing , and swallows twittering from the skies as they gather for migration

Keats uses a marvelous collection of words to upload the images and sounds of nature that reflects his emotions .
