Youth Perspective : The Involvement of Youth in Non-Profit Youth Organization Decision-Making-Process Youth Participatory Examination Study Study Variables Research studies and common experiment are usually done with the characteristic and behavior of cause and effect to actually determine the degree of correlation and connection between two predetermined variable . In this aspect , research and experiments are done in a manner where changes in one factor will affect the other and the degree of affinity between the two will be the main information in establishing a predictable relationship between the variables (Statistica , 2003

Hill Lewicki , 2005 . In the said process , the mentioned factors to be tested are generally called variable , which is classified into two main categories
The independent variable is the constant factor in the research equation that is predetermined and pre-established by the conductor as gathered from the prelude of the research study . On the other hand , the dependent variable is the factor that is being tested in the research study wherein its specific amount or quantity will significant determined by the changed in the independent variable (Coolidge , 2001 In the research process , the independent variable is the factor in the equation that is being change either systematically or randomly to determined its correlation with the dependent variable
In this research study , the actual independent variable to be researched and manipulated will be the personal level of participation and involvement of the youth towards their organization , which is determined by their personal perspective toward their organization activity and the social environment they belong with it . The dependent variable that is affiliated to this is the degree of the youth 's involvement to the decision-making process of their organization . This dependent variable will be measured in accordance to the qualitative degree of the independent variable wherein the higher the percentage of involvement of subject will result to higher decision-making role for the said subject
