In terms of the .NET advantage in utilizing XML , there are several conveniences which can be achieved . For one , XML is as simple as the HTML format when integrated on the internet . Everything is straightforward for the user who is capable of manipulating .NET procedures . XML serves as the basic structure to write commands and execute them . Next , the language uses human ' language instead of computer tags and codes which may limit a programmer 's capability . Also XML is customizable according to the users needs . One can easily designate a command and retrieve or use it anytime within the .NET framework . Lastly , XML within the structure of .NET can be easily integrated in other technologies built using .NET examples are DOM level 2 , XPath and SOAP
