Abstract

Since the university library of the WSU lacks the necessary infrastructure , with specific reference to computers and printers , it is proposed that a team of computer professionals and administrative staff should evaluate the required number of computers and peripherals for meeting the growing needs of more than 20000 students and staff at the prestigious university

Statement of the Problem

Stakeholder Analysis

Once the WSU library is adequately equipped with computers and printers it would benefit students , researchers , technicians and professors . The responsibility for providing the much needed infrastructure lies on the purchase department of the university administration

Objective

In to enhance the productivity of teaching and scholarly research at the WSU , it is proposed that the library needs to urgently upgrade its existing infrastructure

Methodology / Research

It is shocking to report that the library has only 20 computers for their usage by 20000 students , who are enrolled in the prestigious WSU Also , there is not a single printer to meet the printing needs of those computer users . In addition to the students , there are eminent researchers , skilled technicians and distinguished professors , who also throng a score of computers

Personnel

An expert team of hardware and software professionals , along with the administrative staff , are needed to decide the number of computers and printers to be installed in the library
