What do you see as potential challenges or threats to successfully completing your research

All researchers foresee the possibility of not successfully completing their respective research projects . I could enumerate several factors which could pose as potential challenges or threats to my own research

The lack of resources is a possible factor that could threaten the completion of my research . Although a research works under a budget outlined during the proposal stage , unforeseen expenses could arise This could happen even in spite a contingency allotment in the budget Miscellaneous expenses not

related to the research but which could have possible repercussions upon it might require the researcher to divert the funds to offset the emergency . In the end the researcher could be left in dire need of additional funds . He could postpone the research and the postponement could lead to eventual cancellation of the entire project . Other crisis on resources could include research staff leaving the project unfinished or supplies running out

The inability to follow through to the end of the research is another potential challenge . A research takes up a lot of the researcher 's time and attention it is similar to keeping a job . This is not to mention the length of time it takes to finish the whole project . Something might come up midway through that would take my attention and time away from the needs of the research

Finally , another threat is the possibility that certain aspects of the research process or contentious aspects of your methodologies might crop up and make accomplishing the research impossible to do or impractical already . There are many examples to illustrate this point . The respondents might refuse to cooperate at the last minute . The research design might have to be rethought and the whole proposal redone because of some defects discovered in the design in the middle of the actual process of researching . Midway through the project , a published research could arise refuting the viability of your own research...
