What elements make a problem statement arguable

A problem statement is the descriptive statement outlay that will drive a researcher towards a certain point in his research . However , a problem statement should be arguable to drive the researcher towards a descriptive research founding . At one point it should be susceptible to rational debate . It should be easily challengeable , and easily doubted which helps in creating a fountain point of final resolution through argumentation . It should therefore be

Additionally , an arguable problem statement is that which can easily be supported by various elements of persuasive and convincing arguments . The convincing support of argument is what should create the resolution to this statement . It should easily be plausible to argumentation by allowing principles of defensive argument . Why is it important that problem statements be observable and measurable

Every logical and rational problem statement should be observable and measurable . These are attributes that help to create an ideal environment for data collection and gathering that will help to address the requirements of arguing for or against the problem statement . A rational problem statement should provide the spheres for data orientation , measurable and observable attributes . The pursuit to these attributes is what creates a lucrative environment with which the researcher can develop models of data and information gathering Measurable and observational attributes are significantly important in creating processes with which reliable data can be collected and generated in answering the problem statement . Generally therefore , these attributes are of great attribute in the structuring process of the questionnaire and the interview process that will be used in collecting adequate data for research analysis (Jacob , 2005 ,
