If you would have asked my classmates what their greatest disappointment in college was , they would probably answer something like not getting into the basketball team , or not getting into the honors list , or even not getting invited to the senior party . Well then it might seem strange that even if I got to do all those things I still had disappointments . Even stranger is the fact that my one greatest disappointment in college (and

even up to now ) was not being able to talk to a girl who barely knew me . Her name was Amanda and I had seen her on the very first day of school during the freshmen seminar and I am ashamed to say that I have not been able to forget her since then . For me the greatest challenge I had to face in college was not the accounting finals , or the thesis defense , or hurdling the board exams it was of these . To me the greatest challenge I had to face was talking to a woman who probably didn 't even know my name but whom I had been obsessing over for four long years , and trying to establish some sort of connection with her before I would never see her again
