The language of any civilization or society is an important means to gain insight about its culture and circumstances It is rightly said that every language is an important way of looking at the world of the people who speak that language as also in interpreting the different experiences that these people have had . It is from the language of a civilization or community that we can assume about the different aspects of their world , lifestyle and attitudes . It is pertinent to judge as to how people

react to different happenings around them in relation to other communities so as to ascertain the lifestyle and knowledge level of communities . The vocabulary in a particular language that describes different aspects and intensities is a clear give away of the kind of exposure that the particular society has in regard to given experiences . It is for this reason that people living in deserts will have a number of words in their language to describe the intensities and occurrences of dust storms as compared to people living in the extreme northern hemispheres who will have several word s for snow and cold related issues . This facilitates effective communication within the civilization that evolves naturally and happens due to the prevailing culture in a given civilization However to understand any situation of this nature we must think critically on all aspects of available data and then logically draw conclusions specially when we are writing to inform about the culture of people based on inferences drawn from the available data

It is in this context that we will examine the nature and culture of a civilization that has recently been discovered , by attempting to infer logically from the language used by the civilization in terms of the words used by its members to describe the different experiences in their world . The given words of the language can be logically taken as authentic in view of the fact that they have been provided by the linguistic anthropologists who thoroughly examined the civilization for quite some time . In view of the nature of the civilization as indicated by the several words used in its language and as provided by the linguistic anthropologists we will call this civilization Greenville

Given the three words that describe the landscape of the area we can assume that the geographical terrain was possibly characterized by flat , rolling and a little hilly landscape implying that there were no mountainous regions and desert areas , and in all probablity evidence suggests that since there was no word in the civilization 's language to describe ocean we can be sure that it was not located by the sea . Since there are dozens of words to describe food grains and wheat , it is clear the civilization was predominantly an agrarian community that was mostly preoccupied in agricultural pursuits
