Looking first on how animals are useful to human beings we find that , animals help in testing and development of drugs which man uses to treat human diseases . It has been found that in every year about 17 ,000 animals are used in the safety testing of cleaning products used by households and in food additives . Defense ministries have depended heavily on animals to test weapons , although no clear data on the number of animals they use to do this . By use of transgenic animals , scientists in their research nowadays can discover how diseases that affect human beings are transmitted . It from this the scientists gain the insight of these diseases and thus develop new treatment that man can use to curb suffering of the condition . Now the big question we should ask ourselves is , what are the moral issues that govern the use of non-human animal...
