That is , the newly wedded man gives his wife 's tribe a young maiden from his own lineage to replace ' the lady he married . A man will never be allowed to take his wife unless he has brought the male organ of the father of the girl . In almost every case , this conditions must be fulfilled , before any marriage will take place . This is curious but true

Newly married couples are sent

into the bush , with food that can last them for only three months . During this period , the wife is expected to become pregnant , or they must not return to the village again forever They may as well die of hunger , no one cares . Per adventure , the wife becomes pregnant , they are usually welcomed with much fanfare and celebration . The man will be equipped with the well with all to start a family life . But that is not the end of their apprehensions

Upon delivery of the baby , the new born is taken to a lonely place and left alone for three good days unattended . He will be there come sun rain or cold . This is to see if it will be strong enough to live and survive into adult hood . If the child is fortunate to be alive after three days , there will be so much rejoicing , dancing and merriment . The parents are celebrated . Where this is not the case , the husband and wife will be taken somewhere and be killed in the most barbaric and bizarre manner . There is no second chance allowed .
