Planning For Employees There many problems that occur in organizations as a result of poor planning of the workforce by the managers , such problems include confusion about the level of power in an organization and also about the remuneration systems , late issue of job s and contracts , also the lack of adequate and timely introduction of new employees in the organization , lack of management continuity on long-term projects in the firm , lack of time for managers to spend with their workforce , we also find that , the employees working on short term contracts

are always unable to take leave or to benefit from organizations development Therefore all the managers and those who are planning to manage various organizations should consider workforce planning as a major factor leading to success in workers performance
The purpose of planning of the workforce is , normally geared towards the improvement of the speed and effectiveness of the employees ' responses to a particular situation , for example , preparing for emergency occurrences . Under this case , the manager comes up with a plan that will describe the various ways , in which will be used to increase the capacity of the employees to respond positively to an emergency in the working environment
The manager normally comes up with a work force plan that focuses on the operational issues of the employees in the organization . this involves preparing the workforce psychologically , it will commit all the employees to respond to the situation , also the workforce are prepared intellectually , whereby , the managing team comes up with the kind of responses that are appropriate in responding to a particular situation this is normally done through learning from experiences or learning from other similar organizations , and lastly the plan involves the practical preparation through which the management team has access to the precise resources that includes , trained staff , adequate equipment and an efficient administrative systems . Therefore these plans must be assessed on a regular basis , so as to ensure that the information contained in it is accurate and still relevant to the organization . The planning perspective focuses on various aspects of the employees work , including the procedures for enrollment , introduction and training of new workers it also focuses on the communication systems , between the employees and the organization , and this is normally used as tool for the sharing and developing ideas within the organization . These aspects carry their own policies which the managers should follow , so as to come up with a successful planning system
Under enrollment , we find that the manager or the administrative personnel ensures that there is adequate capacity within the workforce to cope with emergencies that arise . Therefore , they should include in the job the all the workers program , the duty to assess and respond to various situations , therefore , the administrative staff should be given the authority to support and help in various working operations .
