Abstract

Interpersonal communication between women and men can be seen in two different

ways , positive and negative . This type of communication takes place only when the

relationship between the two is intimate and if the conversation is done in healthy

environment and , its results will be positive . But if the communication done is on

such that hurts one

's ego or self respect then it might lead to relationship

termination also . So much of the fact depends upon the environment and the intention of

both woman and man towards healthy conversation or conflict . There are some points

that if kept in mind would help to end the interpersonal communication positively . Women and men in conversation 3

Interpersonal communication involves few people in conversation , the people engaged in

communication are in close proximity with each other physically and there are different

channels involved that have immediate feedbacks too . So when there is interpersonal

communication between women and men their relationship does matter a lot and it is

only possible when they know each other from some time . There are many things that are

considered when a woman and a man are in conversation with each other many factors

that make men and women get involved in interpersonal relationship and numerous

points that should be considered before getting into such conversation

Factors that make women and men communicate

The first thing that involves a man and a woman in interpersonal communication is the

intention to know each other . During this conversation one comes to know about the

other easily by talking , asking different questions and above all by observing his /her

behavior and body language

Interpersonal communication helps to understand each other better . When a message is

conveyed , the way in which it is conveyed and the surface level meaning both are well

thought-out

Interpersonal communication becomes important in to establish one 's identity . The

relationship between men and women helps people establish their personal identity in

society and that leads to interpersonal communication between men and women most of

the time

communication . Such as some people don 't like to lead the way and so they become

leaders whereas there are people who just want to follow someone and lead their lives

peacefully and they go that way

There are stages in every relationship where some relationship does not go further than

introduction and few greetings some of them get carried away to some bonding and

commitments too . Relationships that go deeper and closer also have the risk of
