Abstract

Immigration is as old as the development of political boundaries Movement of human being as living organisms is a biological functionality and is central to the levels of development that have been attained in nearly all sphere of the social human . Though women have been involved in immigration throughout history , little has been done to analyze the factors that influence their decision to immigrate and how they fare in their receiving

nations . The number of women immigrant is on the increase and though immigration as a subject is widely discussed there is little that has been done to understand the challenges women immigrants go through . This analyses available literature on immigrant women in the US with the aim of developing a proper understanding of the cause and manifestation of challenges they go through as a way of developing a clearer picture of immigration
