The interview took place on December 6th , 2008 , on the birth control use ' My interview subject , C .T , was a 23-year-old married woman . She has one child and is expecting another . She has previously used birth control , and has done some independent research about different methods . She is a Christian . She has completed her bachelor 's degree . We met in her home and sat on couches in the living room . Our interview took about an hour . I recorded

C .T . does not currently use birth control , and explained that as a Christian , she does not believe in its use . She has not used birth control since before her first child was born , but after she got married . Previously , she used the pill . She does not believe that birth control use is important , and does not plan to use it again in the future . C .T . is a bit unusual in that she is willing to have as many children as she naturally has . We discussed C .T 's general thoughts on birth control , and she indicated that she wants kids , lots of kids , and so she doesn 't need birth control anymore , or plan to need it in the future , and that she is not sure what she would do if she ever decided she did not want more kids .
