Winston Churchills `The Iron Curtain`
p The Iron Curtain The Iron Curtain is an invisible line that separates Europe or the democratic parts of it from the Soviet states that practices communism The speech of Winston Churchill is an urgent call for the English speaking countries to unite against war and tyranny , which are the leading causes of world poverty and privation . He is asking the armed forces and naval forces of both the United States and Europe to join forces and have one common goal , that is , to make sure that the world doesn 't suffer

like how Hitler made a lot of people suffer for his selfish cause . In this way , there will be fewer casualties , as both countries will aid each other in their endeavours . He also mentioned that military protection is a must and squadrons will be there to make sure that the threats for world peace will be eliminated . This is also a fight against communism . Though it 's like an anti-Communist strategy it doesn 't mean however , that he 's blaming Russians for communism . He thinks Russians just want to dominate the world , but not intentionally using violence to control people . He believes that one can control the world without having to fire a single bullet . If all the affiliates of the United States and the British Empire will unite for a good cause then the United Nations Organization has done it 's purpose of promoting world peace . He envisions every civilian from both countries will feel very welcome wherever they go because democracy will make sure their rights were respected . The threats to world peace are those , which promotes war and tyranny , and therefore , should be eliminated
My reaction to this speech made by Winston Churchill on the soil of America is that it sounds too modest , but the goal is attainable . Too modest , because he is posing that the two giant English speaking countries will be the leaders to promote world peace . Honestly , is world peace the reason why there is a great need for squadrons and stronger military forces to protect both countries ? I think it 's just a way to protect its own civilians from other nationalities that don 't believe in democracy . It is giving both the United States and Britain every right to control a country not of their own . This will give them also the right to intervene in other countries ' government . I remember what happened to Iraq . It was horrible how the United States troops and British troops searched for Bin Laden , and they were the ones convincing the world that armed forces are needed to eliminate the threat to world peace . There was even a conspiracy theory that the leaders of this cause for world peace planned the 9 /11 attack . This is just my opinion anyway . Of course , I will favor the procedures to promote world peace by joining the two giant countries ' forces together , instead of having no strategy at all to eliminate the threats to world peace
