Why green initiatives are necessary

The world is changing , the glaciers of the Americas are becoming a baron wasteland , the once bountiful Amazon rainforest is now nothing more than a colossal stretch of scorched earth . These changes have permeated through to the very core of what humanity once , and still should hold dear

It is not just strangers in a far away land who are suffering from this it is now you , it is now me , it is now us

With humanity on the precipice of cataclysmic global change , it is our moral duty to do what

we can to end this cycle of destruction , the cycle of human inhumanity

Through global , multi-lateral initiatives to change the very way in which we think about the world , we , here , have a chance to make a difference , we have a chance to affect not just what our generation depends on , but the climate of our children , and of our children 's children , and all of our species

What we have a chance to do today , before its forever to late , is counter the brutality of ignorant generations past . We need to begin to take every possible opportunity and measure to fight climate change , and to re-grow our rainforests , reseed our deserts and replenish our earth
