SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY

I would like to submit my application for the award of the scholarship in Louisiana Technical College . Am interested in this process technology course because it is my dream career subject that i have nursed for a long time . I have worked all my best in my elementary and high school studies and scored excellent results necessary for admission to the course . More so i have great interest in working with machines and equipments which has

been my childhood activity and i see this as my opportunity to increase my knowledge and skills which i can only get from Louisiana Technical College . In deed am hard working and able to accomplish my studies in time but i have financial difficulty having been raised by single parent-my mother . I have come to appreciate the need for education , knowledge and skills for better life

Am therefore applying for this award so that i can be able to meet my financial obligations while in college . Am currently planning to work over the summer period to raise money to buy an automobile which i can use to attend to go to college . Indeed if am awarded the scholarship i will be able to meet college expenditures such as tuition , books stationery and living expenses . After graduation from the college i expect to have gained valuable and highly demanded skills and knowledge in process technology such as process instrumentation , plant equipment fluid mechanics , statistical quality control , mechanical aptitude and spatial relay , communication skills among others

This skills will prepare me for my future employment opportunities in plant industries in River Parishes . It will also lay foundation for my future academic advancement specializing in process technology Therefore with the award of the scholarship i will be able to fulfill my dream
