Why Timothy McVeigh Bombed the Oklahoma Federal Building

Introduction

It was on the year 1995 when Timothy McVeigh 26 years old was reported to have filled a truck with 5 ,000 pounds of ammonium nitrate which is an agricultural fertilizer , nitro methane which is known to be a highly volatile motor racing fuel mixture and hence headed to the Oklahoma City . It was after filling this truck with all these fuel that he headed to Oklahoma City and at 9 :02 on April 1995 , this truck then exploded in the street which was near the Alfred Murral federal building and hence

br killed 168 people and also left more than 800 people seriously injured This is known as the first deadliest attack on the US soil since it claimed so many lives of people hence leaving majority of them seriously injured (Beres , 2000

It was immediately after this serious attack when Mc Vein was stopped by a police patrol and charged for driving without a license . He was also inspected and also found to be in possession of an illegal weapon . It was then after tow days when Timothy McVeigh was charged with the Federal building bombing . It is well known that Timothy McVeigh is the one who bombed this building since he was later interviewed by the police hence found guilty of this attack . Through the , we are going to try and see why Timothy McVeign bombed the federal building in US . There are so many reasons to claim McVeigh for bombing the building .McVein had been filmed by the security camera on his whereabouts on 17 April 1995 the time when this bombing attacked the city . He had been filmed at a nearby McDonalds and hence he had been seen wearing clothes which did not even match with those clothes which had been won by the men at the Elliot 's (Beres , 2000

Reason for bombing the federal building

McVeigh Timothy argued that the United States was led and also represented by a team of prosecutors and the team of these prosecutors was led by Joseph Hartzler . It was in the statement of Hartzler that he tried to outline the motivations by McVeigh plus also the evidence against him . He also said that McVeigns motivations could be seen and also predicted as a hatred for the government and this hatred could be traced from his time of serving as a military army that is the Turner Diaries and also this hatred too grew from the increase in taxes plus also the passing of the Brady bill . His hatred also grew with the Ruby bridge and Waco incidents hence his desire to bomb the city . This particular prosecution led to the summoning of 137 witnesses and some of the called witnesses included McVeigns sister , Michael Fortier and his wife whom all testified on McVeigns hatred on this government plus also his decision whereby he said that he would take a military action on the cruel government prosecutors .
