There are many reasons to teach but a person should have passion for teaching first in to succeed in this career . Without passion there is no dedication and when there is no dedication , it can not be called teaching . A person should teach because he or she wants

to share his or her knowledge to the students or because of love of children Another reason why an individual wants to enter the teaching profession is the concern that children are becoming more and more diverted to technology and other things rather than focusing on basic primary education . The best reason would be because without teachers and professors , no one would become educated . The need of teachers is increasing due to the increasing number of children going to school

Being a teacher does not end after completing the degree and accepting the first teaching position , as it is a continuous process (Cleveland 2004 ,

.1 . A teacher should be able to accept the fact that students are not the only ones who can learn but also him or her . Being a teacher does not mean that the person knows everything and anything . There should always be a room for improvement . Whatever the reason may be , the most important thing to remember is to teach for the children . Without the proper guidance from parents and teachers , they would not know when and where to start and would surely become deviated from the path that they should be taking
