Both situations require making wise decisions and good judgments as they entail a lot of considerations . has contributed significantly to the company or business , it is usually considered a waste for the employer to see him or her go . On the other hand , if the employee has not been very productive , it is a relief for the employer to see him or her resign voluntarily than be forced to terminate him or her . However , in all resignations there are always important lessons to be learned .
