A Need for Change in the Power Structure Through historical events , we can be taught that the power structure of the western civilization changed according to the needs of the people and the nation at that specific point of time and place . In the course of western civilization , there have been many forms of governments rulers , and ruling systems such as democracy , monarchy , and feudalism just to name a few .
