Situational leadership ' is a model which holds that there is not a single

best way to influence people (Cohen et . al , 2002 , pp . 32 - 34 . It will all depend upon the internal external factors that exists (Cohen et . al , 2002 , pp . 32 - 34 . These internal external factors include the following : the kind of job to be carried out the kind of situation there is superior colleagues etcetera (Cohen et . al , 2002 pp . 32 - 34

If this is how situational leadership ' is defined then it means that the leader is contingent on the situation , meaning individuals cannot be born leaders based on the definition of the aforementioned leader (Cohen et . al , 2002 , pp . 32 - 34 . Instead , one becomes a good leader because he or she learned about it through the internal and external factors that he or she will come to face (Cohen et . al , 2002 , pp . 32 - 34
