War in Iraq/ Policing Other Nations
War in Iraq : Diversity Amongst Parties Through the passage of years , the war in Iraq has been a much-talked about issue concerning global peace . Much more is the involvement of the Unites States that hyped-up the controversy . The grounds and premises for US ' raging war against Iraq is still not established and speculative . This leads us to a case in point , that , Americans have diverse attitudes and perception about the war . A study by WorldPublicOpinion .com reveals these differences in stance are closely linked to the divergence between parties --- the Republicans

and the Democrats
Based on a report by WorldPublicOpinion .com , most Republicans continue to believe that even before the war erupted , Iraq already has weapons of mass destruction or a major tool for developing them . On the other hand , Democrats disbelieve the other party 's idea . Another is that most Republicans also believe that Iraq was providing substantial support to Al-Qaeda and that there is clear evidence about this , which is again opposing the Democrats belief . Despite differences , both parties agree that they should not have gone to war if US did not have the intelligence or confirmation that Iraq has WMD or connections to Al-Qaeda . However , the Democrats firmly believe that Pres . Bush would have still continued with the war even if it has been found that there was no WMD . More so , Republicans consider terrorism as one of the nation 's top problems whereas Democrats are more likely to address unemployment and government dissatisfaction (www .gallupoll .com
Should have there been really no evidence found that Iraq has WMD even prior to the onset of the war , I would still have suggested to pursue a war against Iraq . Until now , no further evidence has been found that points to the existence of WMD in Iraq . We know for a fact that Iraq has been known for such illegal activities such as terrorism and I believe that this needs to be put into a halt to spare more innocent lives and so much more . Given the resources , I am confident that the United States can stop and immobilize these terrorist activities by the Iraq nation
With so many problems , issues and adversities , I find it necessary for the US , with Bush 's leadership to address this issue and declare war with Iraq so as to eradicate , if not , reduce terrorism around the globe .Bibliography
