Do Wal-Mart 's business practices raise or lower our standard-of-living

I consider Wal-Mart to be really beneficial to Americans as it helps households to get products at really low prices as compared to its competitors . No matter what class one belongs to , getting standard products at affordable prices is what everyone wants . Additionally the furniture , electronic and entertainment appliances are available there at such low and reasonable prices that it becomes easy for everyone to afford them

. This gives a chance to people with low income to also purchase these products which would be difficult for them otherwise and helps to raise the standard of those Americans who are not that highly paid . So these people can easily purchase cosmetics , clothes , decorative items , DVDs for themselves enhancing their standard of living . These days the world is in a global recession in this situation people are generally looking for a good bargain , Wal-Mart offers the best deal to customers which give consumers the opportunity to buy reliable and quality goods with the same amount of money . This is leading to benefits to the customers and the economy through spending of money by the consumers
