Many are happy for what it could provide to the Americans , better access of quality goods and better facilities . However while many finds better opportunity with the building of more Wal-Mart stores in different cities , not may are too glad of what Wal-Mart has achieved and what Wal-Mart take back in return . Many Americans are also opposed to what Wal-Mart has caused to the environment and to the different communities as expressed by the residents of Ashland . Many think that the jobs that Wal-Mart offers only replaces better paying jobs that the people of the community already have
Statement of the Problem
It is a fact that Wal-Mart provides job to many Americans but the impact of business practices must yet to be scrutinized if only to find out why many oppose the development and expansion of this company . It is the purpose of this then to investigate on the business practices of Wal-Mart to be able to draw conclusion as to the impact of such practices to the American economy

Political problems not only in America but in many countries have brought to the decline of economic activities . Many people are left jobless . Many children are not sent to school for lack of food and resources . In many countries , people call for development .
