I grew up in a happy home where both of my parents worked successful jobs to ensure I was provided for and received an excellent education My father , a graduate of Tsinghua University , works with the internationally renowned toy and educational equipment provider known as LEGO . My mother is the Vice President of Aigo Huaqi , China 's largest supplier of digital consumer electron products

My parents are dedicated people who have put a lot of time and effort into building their careers . In making sure I had a solid foundation

in education , they enrolled me in boarding school at the age of six . This was an exciting time for me . I was not afraid of being alone , but saw adapting to school life as a challenge . Because I am an only child making friends and fitting in was difficult . My mother , however , taught me about compromising and learning to be tolerant and respectful of others . It was a trying process , but I learned from it . By the time I reached middle school , I had made many friends and had participated in various student activities

In middle school I attended the Experimental Middle School of Beijing I commuted to school by bike . I was living at home where I learned to help keep the household in order , prepare meals , and study productively on my own .
