In Antigone , Sophocles has a way of implying that fate with which we must face cannot be overcome . In other words , fate implies situations that are beyond our humanly grasp and should be left alone or seek the help of the gods themselves to help us change it - but never should we put ourselves above fate and the great gods because this will only cause our downfall . This is the prime central points in Antigone , in which the tragic
